How I arrived at Bluesky?

I like to run... a lot, so when I was at a brick-and-mortar school, I ran in the halls every passing time. I accumulated so many warnings and detentions for running that I got suspended. Somehow my parents, grandpa, and I ended up looking at online schooling to avoid the nuisances of a traditional school. I enrolled in Bluesky shortly after my grandpa found it.


I quickly found that I liked Bluesky for reasons that I hadn't even considered. I can get started on my work immediately rather than having to wait through a lecture that I would likely be able to go without. All work for a week is given at once, so I can plow through it in a couple days if I feel like, rather than doing small bits through out the week. There are some negatives to online schooling, but they are typically minor. People say that you have to be self-motivated to be an online student, but who/what is the motivator in brick-and-mortar schools? I think it is the parents of students telling them to get their work done. What if the internet goes out or the computer stops working? Online students are instructed in the very first days to make backup plans such as going to a local library or a friend's house.
